Alicia Nicholson specializes in Family Law and General Civil Litigation, having appeared in both superior and subordinate courts across various states in Malaysia.
Her passion for family law traces back to her undergraduate years when she elected to study Family Law as an elective at University. She further honed her skills through an internship at a prominent family law firm in Malaysia before embarking on her journey into the legal profession at the same firm. Subsequently, Alicia entered into a partnership, handling a diverse range of Family, Civil, Corporate, and Criminal matters.
Alicia’s expertise in Family Law covers a wide spectrum of areas, including adoption proceedings, contested and non-contested divorce proceedings, injunctions, custody, care and control proceedings, execution proceedings, discovery proceedings, judicial separation proceedings and various other family and child related matters.
While Alicia primarily focuses on divorce and matrimonial matters, her extensive experience in general civil litigation and corporate matters include experience in defamation suits, medical malpractice actions, personal injury and motor claims, debt recovery, employment and labor disputes, execution proceedings, and contractual, company, and corporate disputes and agreements.
In addition to her civil practice, Alicia has represented clients in criminal matters arising from offences committed under the Penal Code and various laws of Malaysia.
